Reach & Wash Glasgow

At First Glass Cleaning we use the latest in reach and wash technology, our vehicles are fitted with hot water de-ionised systems as hot water always cleans better than cold, this works beside our multi stage water treatment that provides 100% pure graded water resulting in a better finish on your glass surface.

Our himod carbon fibre poles allow us to safely reach a height of 65 ft or 5/6 storeys from a standing position and working in conjuction with our multi-jet brush heads that allowm up to 8 separate jets of water allowing us to provide the best rinsing and cleaning available.

All our staff are trained to operate these systems and understand that different types if glass need a different method of cleaning as hydrophilic glass is better cleaned using pencil jets and hydrophobic glass achives better results using fan jets.

Our system also provides a cost effective solution for cleaning cladding, facias, signs and solar panels.

How Does It Work ?

We know water as H2O. each water molecule consists of one atom of oxygen and two atoms of hydrogen. These two atoms form two charged ions in water.
A hydrogen atom is a positevly charged hydrogen ion(ACID); the other is compounded to the oxygen atom to form a negatively charged hydroxide ion(alkaline). Purified water therefore acts as a remarkable solvent, thanks to the ability of these charged ions to form compounds with other ions in the same way.
In other word: the positive and negative charges attract each other. When purified water flows over a surface it dissolves all the substances it comes into contact with and leaves a clean streak free surface behind.to achieve this effect correct cleaning methods and sufficient rinsing times must be taken into account.
